about

From the creators of "VÄGUE" comes a new blast from the future's past:

Far Out 80s D.

A saga in the making!

Lost in a drugged out haze in the hellish city of HADES, ARIZONA what will our protagonist, LXXXs detective, do to repay for his sins?

Who will he encounter on his journey this time?

Find out now!

For the deep listener who wishes to fully immerse themselves in the 80s detective waters. The following is an excerpt from the full text (available with purchase):

"Our friend decides to take initiative and go to his favourite nightclub: “80’s HADES”. The street reflects a magical green, which turns into a yellow, followed by a red off of wayward puddles as the traffic lights change accordingly. He loves this place, it’s so cool. 80s arrives at “80’s HADES” and gets a drink at the bar whilst already being in a state of ecstasy. His eyes start to spiral while looking at the heavy red and orange lights ornamenting the dark brick walls surrounding him. Many people are happy to see him, others way less. He gets his hand shook, shoulder patted and ear talked out all evening. 80s barely says a word to anyone. His eyes start spiralling a bit too quickly. The club becomes a huge kaleidoscope, a true vision of mania. His head starts spinning with the room so fast that his hair bursts into flames. 80s rushes to the bathroom like a mad man, stampeding everyone in his sight. In the washroom he puts his head in the sink and drowns it in cold water. The flames die. In his smoking head state he scraps through his pockets for his phone, instead grabbing a card for an evil suicide hotline. The following slogan is the ad on the card: “1-800 CALL FREE NOW. SUICIDE HOTLINE. GUARANTEED YOU’LL DO IT AFTER SPEAKING WITH ONE OF OUR CERTIFIED COUNCILLORS”. 80s loses himself completely. He pulls out his mini-nokia 1997 cell-phone and dials the number of his boss. He is walking back to his room in the hotel while the phone dials. Boss never picks up."
